£200,000 Crime-Fighting Fund Opens to Local Community Groups

Community organizations across Buckinghamshire are being encouraged to apply for a share of a £200,000 funding pot designed to support local policing priorities.

The second round of the Community Fund is now open, offering grants of up to £10,000 for community groups across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire. The money must be used for projects that support the priorities outlined in the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan.

Jointly managed by Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Barber alongside Chief Constable Jason Hogg, the initiative is funded entirely by the proceeds from the sale of items seized from criminals that cannot be returned to their rightful owners.
